Alexandre Joseph Sosnowsky (1937-2013), better known by the name Sacha Sosno was an internationally renowned French sculptor and painter. Along with Yves Klein, Arman and Cesar, he was part of the New Realist Movement. Working most of the time in Nice, France in his last decades, Sosno achieved international recognition for his monumental outdoor sculptures on the Côte d'Azur. Sosno's most recognizable work remains the "Tête Carrée” library (a massive “square-head” building) in Nice, France which he completed in 2002. It houses three floors of books in a perfect melding of art and education. “Thinking Inside the Box”
