Bruce Weber (born 1946) is an American fashion photographer and occasional filmmaker. He is widely known for his ad campaigns for Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren, as well his editorial work for GQ, Vogue and Interview magazine, among many others. His work for GQ (with GQ’s art director Donald Sterzin) in the late 1970s and early 1980s helped redefine the American man - and changed forever the look of magazines, photography, and advertising. Weber’s photographs are occasionally in color; however, most are in black and white or toned shades. Weber continues to exhibit his work in prominent museums around the world. Bruce Weber and his wife are long-time ARF (Animal Rescue Fund) supporters who have incorporated their love for animals into their celebrated projects in film and photography over the course of their 45-year collaboration.
